The mission of Texas Destination Imagination is to encourage and foster the development of 21st-century skills: creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration; to influence the development of a positive self-image, and to prepare the students of Texas to apply problem-solving skills to life decisions.

Texas Destination Imagination is a problem solving educational organization that strives to promote creativity in the young people of Texas – reaching more than 19,000 students a year. “DI” is an extraordinary non-profit organization that provides educational programs for students to learn and experience creativity, teamwork and more than 100,000 students across the U.S... and in more than 30 countries. The DI core program is educationally based in which student teams solve open-ended Challenges through the use of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and fine arts. Teams are tested to think on their feet, work together, and devise original solutions that satisfy the requirements of the Challenges.
