Congratulations to the State Bound teams. This is our largest State Tournament with 353 teams registered.

We recommend all teams register on Friday, April 16, 2010. Registration is from 7:00- 9:30 pm. Registration will be located at Polk Middle School in the cafeteria.

Late registration will be at Newman Smith High School from 8:00- 10:00 am.

Please allow yourself plenty of time to register; we do not want this to interfere with anyone’s performance. Please remember all teams must register before they will be permitted to perform.

The following documents are required for registration:

Registration will be open to team managers only.

1. Declaration of Independence Form
2. Expense Form (does not apply to Challenge D or Extreme Challenge)
3. Tournament Data Forms (does not apply to Extreme Challenge)
4. Medical Release Forms ( present one for each student)
5. Media Release Forms- (turn in one form for each student)

Parking Instructions.  This gives very helpful information about where to exit from I-35, routes from Hwy. 380 and alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.

April 17 Event Parking.  The parking lots referenced in the Parking Instructions are numbered and color coded.  Note that there are 3 other small events happening at the same time and parking has been reserved for those events as well.  This is detailed on the map.  Not all of the streets referenced in the Instructions can be seen on this map, however a google map has been posted on the website that does show them.

April 17 Event Bus Parking.  A route has been drawn on this map for buses to follow for unloading and parking.  They will be expected to park at the Radisson Hotel Parking lot (hotel no longer open) after drop-off.  The UNT Police Captain is planning to be there by 8:00 for a meeting with the bus drivers to discuss line up for pick-up following awards.  The current plan is to have them line up along Maple Ave. (indicated on map) for pick-up.  Please make sure that your school district coordinators who are using buses have this information.

There will be police officers on duty for the event to direct traffic.
